The lack of safe sanitation is a widespread problem in India, especially in the rural regions. 750 million people, or 60% of the country’s total population, do not have access to safe sanitation facilities. Unsafe disposal of faecal waste has serious long-term consequences for health and wellbeing. Each year, 300,000 people die from diarrhoea and related diseases in India. Children under the age of five are the worst affected.
The Tiger Toilet is the most effective solution to provide safe sanitation.
The Tiger Toilet treats faecal matter on site, requires minimal maintenance and produces useful compost as a by-product. It does not generate odour and does not ever require sludge handling. It is less costly than a septic tank, and comparable to a twin-pit latrine.

- SMART, SUPERIOR DESIGN : The door can be fitted on either left or right side of the toilet superstructure, allowing more space to access the toilet to users. Floor tiles make cleaning easy.
- OPTIMUM SIZE : The space is designed for comfortably accommodating a user and two buckets of water.
